New to the Church?

We welcome you to visit and worship with us! We are a group of believers who are looking to grow in our faith. We know that “Old Time Religion” doesn’t satisfy in the way is used to. But we also know that the saints and sages of our past knew God and sought to lead us into God’s presence. They descirbed all that the only way they knew how - using the language of their age and the understanding of how God’s creation works of their age as well. We want to be faithful to what they understood and experienced and so together we seek our Lord.

Join us! We’re a friendly group. We enjoy people and enjoy going through this life together. It’s a lonely world. It’s better when you’re with others along the way.

Becoming a Member

At Rockville, we welcome all to participate and we appreciate both members and friends. If you want to become a member, just say so! We want to encourage each other as we grow and develop. Membership means saying, “I want to take the next step in my walk of faith with these people.” (Whatever that step may be.)

In the Presbyterian Church, membership can be accomplished in one of several ways:

-Affirmation of faith, (doing it for the first time )-Re-affirmation of faith (doing it after being away from a church or fellowship for a while, or-Transfer (already a member of another church but have recently moved here or had some other life change)

However it’s done, we want people to join us on the journey! Feel free to talk to us or Pastor Sam anytime you’re around.
